Software License
A simple one-user license designed for freelancers, consultants, developers, and hands-on business owners.
Buy SyteByte once. Use it for your own work and unlimited commercial client projects. Install it on computers you personally own or control. Do not share, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or repackage SyteByte itself.
1. License Grant
Subject to these terms, SyteByte grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased SyteByte software for personal and commercial work.
2. One User
A standard SyteByte license is issued to one individual user. That user may install SyteByte on computers the user personally owns or controls.
Each additional person who uses SyteByte must have their own valid license unless a separate multi-user license is expressly provided.
3. Client Work
The licensed user may use SyteByte for an unlimited number of personal or commercial client engagements.
Websites, reports, written content, forms, plans, and other original outputs created using SyteByte may be delivered, licensed, or sold to clients, subject to applicable third-party rights.
4. Restrictions
You may not distribute, publish, upload, share, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, or otherwise provide the SyteByte software package or its source files to another person except where expressly authorized in writing by SyteByte.
You may not repackage SyteByte, substantially reproduce the SyteByte application, or offer SyteByte itself as your own software product or hosted software service.
5. Ownership
The SyteByte software, branding, documentation, and original product materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership of SyteByte itself.
6. Lifetime Updates
Where Lifetime Updates are included with a purchase, updates to the purchased SyteByte product are provided at no additional charge for as long as that product remains actively maintained and distributed by SyteByte.
“Lifetime” refers to the supported lifetime of the purchased SyteByte product and does not guarantee that the software will be maintained or distributed forever.
7. Termination
The license may terminate if you materially violate these terms. Upon termination, unauthorized use or distribution of SyteByte must stop.
